Best Route to go for Starting a Blog

I'm thinking of starting a blog to document living in a fifth wheel, but I'm not sure where to start. I don't want to have to deal with any of the backend stuff for now, but I would like the option of being able to move to my own server if I want to down the road.

Wordpress.com is your best bet. Not only is Wordpress the most widely used blogging software/CMS, but it should be really simple to transfer everything over from Wordpress.com to your own Wordpress install on your site.

Thanks! I was thinking Wordpress, just wanted some confirmation that it would be a good place to start. I'm going on vacation the next couple weeks, but I should have something started by the end of June.

I use Wordpress for my blog. Such an easy system to use.

Wordpress or Tumblr.

Wordpress moreso, but the Tumblr app is pretty nice.
