The expansion pack in my N64 portable is too finicky, I don't know what its problem is. I'm too busy and don't have the patience to cut and bend a new one. What I would do is send you the $ via PayPal to buy an expansion pack, cut and bend, then send it to me. Don't know what a logical rate is but I know some members are quite good at it, so if you've done a few and are comfortable to do one for pay and guarantee your work send me a message, I'll make it worth your while.
