a question to all of you using tact switches as buttons

if i use tact switches for abx and y, can i still shorthop in melee for example? if you arent sure can you test that for me? that would be awsome. its because i hate to solder on the controller board so i know want to use tact switches. i found very squishy ones

The short hop is caused just by a fast press&release of the button, so I don't see why it shouldn't work (but I haven't tested it though)

The short hop is software based, not hardware. You'll be fine.
