Strange indeed. After i fix the wii issue i'll try one of my other wasps. I have two spares. I will report back with the results.

popped in a wii and the GC logo appears. Selected it and the screen goes black. Now the wii seems bricked. reboots to a black screen. :(

thanks for the reply! Yes, i have swapped the SD FFC cable with two new cables checking continuity prior to turning on and no change. The WASP LED remains solid.

Greetings MR! So i've had my first GCP for a little over a year now and its been working great up until a few weeks ago. When I now power it on the WASP blue LED remains solid and no longer loads. Reading Disc appears. No errors unless I pull the SD card. Any ideas? I did a reseat of the two...

I have a weller wes-51 and can't complain. Heats up to 700F (850F max on the dial) within seconds and its definitely affordable. Take care of your tip and it will serve its purpose. I can't believe how long I went without it. It's a game changer...seriously

Question, I selected super mario sunshine to test then i turned the GC off. When I turned it back on and go to game select, it still shows super mario sunshine instead of swiss. How do I prevent that from happening? If I let the GC remain off for a few minutes then the game is gone and it...

I ran jumpers between the filters and the v6. Didn't take very long at all. Works great now! Just do it!

I rewired the wasp reusing a MEGAdrive v6 but this time (since I sucked at bridging) decided to solder jumpers from the filters to the MEGAdrive v6 and... YES!!!!! Victory!! :mrgreen: Don't mind the horizontal lines on the screen, its just for testing. Wasp problem no more! Thanks guys

quick update- Rewired audio amp with shielded wire and that did the trick. Thanks! Also did some poking around with my fluke and found one of my traces for the memory card was lost. Rewired the memory card to the alternate pins and I'm back in action. I will be tackling the wasp rewire in a...
