    GCPC

Thank you! :D It was actually when following your thread I found out about these. I've had this idea in the back of my head since then and finally decided to go for it. Good to hear that it's somewhat gaming capable :) So far I haven't had any trouble with it. As the Cube is rated at 39W (I...

Thanks! Well, it's not a monster :P But it manages 1080p video playback and should work with Blu-rays as well. That's what I had in mind when I started But some older games do work. Got COD2 to run pretty fluently on medium/low and N64 emulators and downwards are working fine :)

I've started to mod a little again :D Yay for me I decided to make myself a Gamecube PC that will be used as a media computer in my new apartment. This one didn't take very long to complete and is a pretty simple project. Most of the time I waited for parts to arrive. Nano ITX motherboard...

    (Sneak peek) Abb_eliten's Nintendo GCi

Hi! I can't keep this a secret anymore!!! Thought I would post a few pics of my current project; the Nintendo GCi. I've been working on this since the beginning of January, and it's been on hold for about a month-and-a-half now due to speaker issues. The ones xXBEBXx kindly sent me had the...

    Anyone know if these controllers...

If you're going to use them in portables, use quite thick wires for relocating to avoid noise, as the PCB consists of only a logic chip and 2 filtering capacitors + rumble circuit. I'm struggling with one of these right now.

Re: GameCubePocket worklog Yeah, I've got a couple of fans sucking air straight through the case so I hope it will be sufficient.

    GameCubeMini ~ Worklog

Re: GameCubePocket worklog Nice find! Wish I found one of these before I spent several days of cutting the original heatsink to size  Good to know the cube doesn't get hot with a heatsink that small.

Abb_eliten's GameCube portable (updated with video)

Thanks! If I have the console plugged in to a TV it's a lot easier to have an external controller for everyone, I think. I just desoldered the original port and extended the audio and video lined with wires going both to the internal screen and AV port.
