Hey I want to make a case for my N64P before I get too far. I was wondering how acrylic would work for a case. If not what will work? Thanks for your help.

So does anything get soldered up to those two metal strips on the side of the board?

So basically any ground I see in a diagram for the n64 board is where a negative wire hooks up?

I want to start preparing my wires so when my N64 comes I can solder the wires without any trouble. About how long do the wires need to be? And what gauge? I think the thickest I have is 18. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the advice. I will try to get it with one N64 ( isn't that the object). I am not doing any expansion pack relocations or RCP, or small cases, I don't really fell confident enough to trim the board. I will get more elaborate as I make more portables.

I read the stickies but found nothing about tact switches

I can't figure this out, I need help. I have tact switches with four little metal prongs on the bottom, two on each side. I know two will go to the controller and two to the board. But isn't there a data wire that needs to get hooked up. Or is there power wires that get hooked up to the tact...

I'm newb, I am totally confused about grounding. I'm going to build a N64P but I don't understand where the ground leads or negative leads connect to on the N64P motherboard. Is negative the same as ground? someone please help. Thanks for your time!

Hey I am new to modding and want to build a portable. I don't know weather to choose between the N64p or a SNESp, I have a couple questions. Can you use one of those Retro duo systems on ebay, or does it have to be a genuine SNES? Which is harder to do? The 64P looks like it has alot more...
