Re: Gonna portablize the Heck outa my GC
Yeah.... I really want to but if I sunk one more dollar into this project my wife will probably kill me...
I guess I could get away with it somehow, know anyone that has an extra layin around that they wanna sell me that would be cool.
That's what I said. Two layers on either side so four in total. In the close up I have there you can see the trace edges, close to the surface of each side of the board. I should have been more clear there I suppose.
But yeah as far as trimming goes I found that it wasn't actually to tough. If...
I was doing a bit of a trim on my GC mobo, and was inspecting the layers for shorts when I thought just for fun I'd try and take some hd pics of the cross section. I hope this helps someone or if you just think it's cool like I do.
Looks like Two layers pretty close together on either side...

With the smashing success of my nes portable, I am confident enough in my skills to undertake the GC. I Hope that you will all support me in my efforts dispute the fact that there are a frick ton of new portable posts here. This forum rocks. You guys rock. I like rock. Rock beats scissors. Paper...

I used an original NES mobo, rf box, controller and cart slot for all of the internals as well as the original power and reset switches, the audio...
Yeah I definitely had that direction right. That wasn't the problem, I just somehow fried the board. Moved on to a new board now and it's working A-ok. Gonna post the finished product in the next few days or so.
Thanks for actually replying to my post though lol.
Working on a nes p for a while now and I'm having problems with LCD screens. The colours are all separated like scan lines and washed out. I've tried two different types of screens now and they both are doing the same thing.
[WTB] NES working mobo or consoles for portable. Already toasted two so I'm running low but I think I've got it now haha. I am quite familiar with paypal and such. Thanks!
