what can i do whith this

i have an old lcd ws monitor and laptop with no screen i wanna make a mini arcade with them without just plugging in the screen to the laptop and putting it on my desk i have all mame roms and atria rom and sega roms on the laptop and im using MAX 2.10 to and some emulators to play them atm but i would like some ideas on how i could make it look and feel cooler
