Sprocket64 - Nintendo64 Handheld. Video and LOB64 Test!

I started this some time ago and finally finished it. It is named the Sprocket64 (because I thought that would be a cool name when I started it. :p) and it has a 7" widescreen, 3.5 hours of battery life, and full compatibility with all N64 games. The screen can switch from 4::3: to 16:9, so non-widescreen games aren't stretched. :)
This one has an LOB64 port in it, as did my previous one, so you know what that means - LOB64 test! :awesome: That video is at the bottom of this post.
It also has daftmike's low-battery indicator. The LED's are in the power button, and it goes from white to red.

You can see the worklog here: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=442

And here's a video demo-ing my Sprocket64, followed by some pretty pictures. ;) Then, it's my favorite "WIP" pics and the LOB64 video. Enjoy!

W.I.P. Pictures:

The original case idea. :p

The case is made from pieces of plastic from an old printer/scanner. I cut them out, glued them together, and used bondo to fill in the edge gaps. Then, I sanded the edges round and painted it.

And, LOB64 video! The screen on my Retro64 is kind of dark, but the camera exaggerates it. There is quite a noticeable drop in brightness when splitting the video signal two ways, so maybe a video amp should be used for even two portables only. I am going to order a video amp and try some stuff out, and probably make a Klobio Box. ;)

Truly the best looking N64 portable. Sexy as all get-out.

Adding to da megasticky.

How did yoo kno!!! :dahroll:

That is true, but it seems that the PSOne screen also takes more of the signal's "bandwidth". But the screen on my Sprocket64 does not need as strong a signal.

I know I said it before, but once again, awesome work, Mario! :awesome:

Wow, Mario. That's an incredible portable :) Very...well, everything! I love it! If I could have one portable, any portable, it'd be this one. It's so neat and I love the widescreen. Awesome work! Dang...

Really great job on the portable Mario, it looks really slick. I'm also glad to see LOB64 works as expected.
