Megadrive inside arcade stick??

hi guys just a thaought i will receive my megadrive soon and it comes with a arcade power stick
i was wondering if there is any chance i could fit the whole of the magadrive inside of the arcade stick

If it was a Nomad or Genesis 3 maybe, the arcade stick isn't as big as it looks.

ok but the picture i have shows that the arcade stick is the same length as the md
and only around an inch less wide also looks easily the same thickness
