Case Repair

I picked up an old SNES to fix up. Getting it working was the easy part. It has a few chips in the case that I'd like to fix before I paint it. As you can see in the picture, the chips are on the edges, where it is very very thin. I tried using epoxy putty (J-B Weld KwikPlastic), but it didn't bond to the case very well, so when I started sanding, it fell off.

I'm sure ABS cement would bond, but wouldn't I need another little bit of plastic? Can I make a putty with it somehow and then sand it down?

Would Bondo be a better idea?

Please give me a few suggestions on how to fix the chips.

Thanks!

If you have some spare plastic shards lying around then you should use ABS cement to join them to the case and use bondo to make it flush to the rest of the case.
