Battery help

Hmm... got another question.

I found an old Laptop battery... think that will work?
I would need to take it apart obviously.... but here's what it is:

DC 14.4V 2000 mAh
Toshiba Li-ion Battery Pack
Model No PA3450U-1BRS

Is that even going to last a long time at 2000 mAh?

Also... what if I grabbed 2 Cannon BP-911s?
They are 7.4v at 5200 mAh.
Can I combine them for longer battery life and use the guide found here:
batteries1.pdf

Or is this not going to work because it is 7.4V

Thanks

I took that 14.4V battery apart, just to do it.

It has 4 cells in it, and is connected to a small board.
Obviously the connection is strange as it goes into a laptop that way.

Now... what can I do to wire that so that it will recharge?

Here's a bit more info on the hip screen pad:

The only really bad thing, I can't get to ladyada's site as wayback machine will not pick it up.
She had taken the control board off (the one with the knobs for volume and stuff) and redesigned it. Which, I think would save space.
But, I can't access it to see what she did.
It looks like up to 20 volts can be used for this screen.
and it looks like the control board uses anywhere between 6-12V

After looking at that... do you have suggestions? I am trying to email ladyada to see if I can get some info.

Okay... I removed the control board...
I assumed that would help things out according to Ladyada's site.

Now... I don't have sound. LOL

Do I need to amplify the sound from the Atari?
I didn't read anything about that.

Btw... still same problems with the video rolling after a bit. I got some extra time... but still not that great
