Xbox 360 N64 controller WORKLOG

I decided to pull apart my old corded xbox 360 controller and start to try and use the case for the n64 internals.

I'm going to use the xbox analog but I'm a little stick on what to do for the C buttons.

Heres a couple of pics anyway, not much to look at the moment mind.

I'm currently doing this between projects at the moment so progress may be quite slow.

UPDATE:

So far I've managed to completely gut the xbox pad case with all its plastic trimmings inside in order to get the superpad board to fit. I've also trimmed the controller board, wire the xbox analog in and the start button.

The hardest part is working out how to get it all to fit in (relocating buttons). However, I now feel I have a better plan at how to put this together.

Make it a dual analog, switchable. This is giving me ideas, by the way. I have a superpad and some cut up dualshocks, hmm.

Remove 2 of the a/b/x/y buttons, for A and B(or have 2 as turbo buttons somehow). Use the right stick as the c-buttons(using the analog stick, of course) and have the xbox logo button as start. Z can be the front bumpers while L and R are the triggers, and the rest is self explanitory. (hopefully)

I would do it the opposite, with L and R the bumpers and Z the triggers. However, controllers are very much personal preference. My ideal control would probably be hated by a lot of people, and I hate a lot of controllers others like.

This.

you should have a c stick that is removable and can be switched out with a dpad if that could work it would be really cool but i doubt it could

lolno that would suck

Can anyone point me in the direction on how to use a C-stick analog with a superpad please?

It would save a lot of hassle if I could use this instead of the normal c-buttons.

It might be possible to modify the lower xbox stick for the c buttons. Many you could add little contacts on the sides of the stick and use them as your switches
