WiiKey Help Needed.

My WiiKey wont work.

Had it running fine Yesterday.

Went to clean up the wiring and when I re-soldered it all back together it doesn't want to work for me.

Info:

• Followed Diagrams from http://forums.modretro.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=6003
  Read and reread that and the official troubleshooting forum (didn't want to bump old stuff)
  Did work yesterday.
  No orange light
  Blue light acts as it should
  Checked continuity about 8 times tonight
  As well as tracing each wire to make sure its in its proper spot
  Tested WiiKey with a WII and it works fine
  Dol-CPU-30
  All grounds are grounded by there own wire (except for 2)
  FFC is in proper place(tested each time it was reinserted with a continuity test
  Firmware 1.5 (loaded and confirmed on WII)
  2GB SD card formatted WBFS with 1 game on it (Tested on Wii, loads and plays fine)
  

Other info provided upon request!

Anybody have any ideas? It looks like its working fine, except its not grabbing the info right. I can't think of what would be different.

I had that many times, cause my solder weren't good.
The only reason I can see is that your solder are also not good.

Maybe you have a IPL version 1.0? Maybe because I remember that a long time ago, I had an action replay disk and it didn't work for my IPL 1.2 but for my (maybe... I'm very unsure) IPL 1.0 gamecube. Just trying to help.

However I have got a cpu-30 which is not one of the 1.0.



Since the first post i have fixed the error and it is now working perfectly.

Nice! Also I forgot to mention in my other post that when in the disk menu screen on the gamecube IPL 1.0 the question mark was purple. This may help other people, I don't know.

so im confused, do you need to re-wire the wiikey fusion to work on the gamecube?

Yeah, its not too bad once you sit down to do it. I just had some stupid problems that were all my fault.

Oh, i thought fusion worked on the GC,
then whats the difference between the wiikey, wiikey fusion and the wiikey 2?
