Wii bluetooth/wifi interference

Has anyone experienced any problems with bluetooth or wifi connectivity while modding the wii? I am having lots of trouble with connectivity issues for both bluetooth and wifi. I believe my hdd which contains all the games on it is interfering with these connections. Does anyone have any idea as to how I could get rid of the interference? (the interference might also be coming from the main voltage line, not sure)

You could try moving to solid state memory. So like a flash stick and see if that helps. Try shielding the voltage line if nothing helps to.

What could I use for shielding? Would shielding from a gamecube controller or n64 controller wire be sufficient?

I'm not sure but you could try. What I use is wires from old gamecube AV cables I have kicking around.
