Where to find a RGB to VGA converted box?

I have an xbox original and I want to hook it up to my VGA screen, only problem is it does not support VGA. Any ideas where I can get a converter (Not like a cable, I need a box that ups the signal and whatnot I think)?

I prefer smaller ones but any will do

Or just mod your 'box for VGA. It will give you better quality, not sure how well it'll work with games though.

What happens if my screen only supports up to 1280X800 resolution? None of those give that exact resolution, but they look perfect otherwise and I may buy one for the future for whatever

Where would you get a screen that ONLY does that resolution? Most screens will go lower, some will even go higher than native.

It says it supports up to 1280X800 resolution, so im assuming it can do stuff ower too.
Also, I just noticed that I dont know how much power the screen needs to run. Any idea how I can figure this out (And google and the like havent helped)
