Whats a good place to get Capacitors, Resistors and such? Radioshack is fail

Frys electronic, if you have one near you. Crappy employees, but components are fairly cheap. Otherwise, online places like digi-key and ebay can get you some stuff, though not that quickly.

Ebay is good when you want a medium to large quantity of one item, cheap. It's the only place to get squishy tacts that aren't a ripoff. Digi-key is expensive but has a good selection. There are smaller specialty places- two here in Canada where I buy my stuff. RP Electronics, who has tools, connectors, and some components and HVWtech who sells microcontrollers, sensors, robotics types of stuff. In the US, the only one I know of is SparkFun. More useful for robotics, but they have some neat useful parts.

But yeah, eBay.
