What screw size does an official wired GC controller use?

I need some screws that would fit wired GameCube controllers, but I have no idea what size they are or how to find out without going to a hardware store.

id love to use phillops heads for my controllers, that measurement doessn't seem to include thickness

if you dont have any that fit, then you would need to go to the hardware store to buy some right?
so why not go to the hardware store and come back and post your findings?
