What are lcd modules and can you use them as a screen for your portable?

For ex. Can i use this http://www.aeicomp.com/Detail.asp?Product_ID=000.450_LCD4L for a Gamecube portable

that is really expensive. Go with a PS1 or Zenith screen.

LCD modules are basically like the PSone screen or eBay 3.5" screens, but without cases or console connectors.

Make sure they have composite input, and you're good.

AEIcomp makes nice stuff, but they're a bit overpriced. You could easily get a 5" screen for less than half that and do a quick LED backlight mod to make it draw less power and be done with it.

generally, lcd module is another way of saying, "you could find a much better deal, unless you buy quantity"
