Vertical lines on Game Boy Pocket

So I was tinkering a bit, and now my Pocket has a few faint vertical lines on the LCD. I've seen fixes for DMGs, is it similar for a Pocket? Advice appreciated. Picture:

I had lines on my Color, and if you even touched the screen's ribbon cable, make sure it's in all the way. Otherwise, wait until Bibin replies.

Hypothetically it's similar, but I've never done it myself. Using a VERY LIGHT heat gun may be better for this situation, as I don't have a pocket with me and can't look at it to tell you exactly where to heat it up. The hard part is that unlike the DMG, the ribbon going to the bottom of the LCD isn't so tough and will probably melt if you try to use an iron.

Fundamentally, it's the same problem that would hypothetically have the same fix in nature.

Hm, I'm a little to scared to poke around anymore so I'll probably just deal with it, it's not too annoying anyway. Thanks for the info!
