Unmodded Gamecube Motherboard Rev. A Not booting

I don't know what is wrong with it. It hasn't been played for 2 years but when I try to turn it on, the light and fan just turns on. Has anyone had this problem before? Does anyone have a solution?

- Do any of the chips get hot after you turn it on?

- Is your board clouded with dust?

If it is cleaned off and still won't work, then you may have a fried chip

The chips get hot after i turn it on.

Check if the psu is outputting the correct voltage on the 1.9v line. This is exactly what happens to GCs if the 1.9v line is disconnected or isn't outputting enough amps.

If the chips get hot then things are probably working right. Look around for broken traces or any small capacitors/resistors that might have gotten ripped off.

If THAT doesn't work, I would use a multimeter to test the voltages on the power supply. Make sure all the voltages are at their proper amount.
