Torrenting issue - strange things

So, recently, my torrenting setup has decided to stop working correctly. It works fine for any file up to ~650mb. Larger than that, and it will not download. This behavior is in Qbittorent, Transmission QT and Utorrent. I did not change any settings, and there ~400gb free on the drive I'm downloading to. I would just reinstall windows, but I'd like to wait until I get a new SSD after christmas. Anyone have any thoughts on what the Heck is happening?

Win 7 pro, Microsoft Security Essentials (I did turn the firewall off for testing - no effect), Utorrent 3.2.3, Qbittorent 3.06, Transmission QT 2.74

And it should be noted that copying larger files to the drive, creating larger files on the drive, and direct downloading them works just fine, so its not like my drive is dying.

Is this just affecting your one computer, or every computer on the network? Don't think it works that way, but it might be a problem between your computer and the cloud.
