So I decided that I wanted to make a replica of Apollo Justice's bracelet. So I did a little research and I found one someone else made:
But then I did more research!
Then I realized a replica would be bulky. So I'm making a more slim version.
Yesterday I went to WalMart and bought a 3 pack of these cheap gold bracelets, each one smaller than the last. I figured the large one would be the best basic, so I bent and chopped it to fit snugly.
But that's only half of it. The other half was then chopped and bent to match the other half.
To keep it on(for now) I took one of the other bracelets and chopped part of it off. Then bent it a bit. Then put some epoxy on the inside to make it flat and then superglued it to the second half.
It fits together pretty nicely, needs a little more bending and all to keep it nice, but it's a nice start.
OBJECTION!
I still have to cover it with a layer of epoxy so I can put on the design. I also picked up some gold paint from Walmart so I can paint the epoxy once it's done.
I drew up the design in Paint.net earlier today:
I'm planning on getting the shape with the epoxy and then using a dremel to drill in the grooves.
