Snes Board Reduction

This is for you Toast.
Is it possible to trim down the snes mini's board? This is where I want to cut: http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2hcdszo&s=5
the pic is a little dark but you get the idea.
Has anyone done anything like this before? Also is there anywhere else to trim it down?

really though, trimming the mini snes is quite a simple matter. all the bare ground around the edges can come off, and, im not sure, but i think you can cut off the section behing the 7805, then pick video up off some points on the board. no pics though. poke around with a multimeter.

Yeah, benheck has some alternate soldering points for video. You can either buy his book or look it up on the internet. Probably just googling, "benheck snes portable" will give you a link.

I will eventually, but this baby came first.
EDIT: I just cut off the front part below the controller ports. I would put my cartridge connector back ob but my desoldering iron is broke. :/

Same as v1 just some minor barely noticeable improvements. I have heard the lock-out chip mod doesn't work on it.

lock out mod chip? we talking about SNES mini or FC 16? I thought the FC 16 was already set to play all types of games, you just had to cut the tabs in the slot.

Also I removed a little from the length of my board making it a even 6 inches long. Its not much. I will test it when I get a new desoldering iron.
