Recommended Wire Gauge for pN64?

Well, some of my parts have started arriving from Japan and China so I am prepping the final parts needed. One of which is the wiring. i noticed the holes on the n64 motherboard are quite small, so I am wondering what gauge of wire should I use?

Always use thick ground wires. The 3.3 and 12 Volt Line should be also "thick".For Data Lines ( Cardridge Slot or something like that) Ide / Scsi wires should work fine

I use 1.5mm wires and they work just fine.
