As I continued to work on my portable I ran into another problem. My Ps1 screen doesn't get a signal from my n64. Help please!!

Does the screen's backlight come on?

Do you have composite hooked up, and are you grounding it?

i already have it connected to the 7805... i think my console might be fried or something
Edit: how can you tell if it's fried?

First off, stop bumping. People will answer you, it just takes time. Now about your N64, put a game in and turn on your console. Before that, make sure the LED comes on.

Sorry about bumping, i wanted to figure out the problem before i went to Montana. The LED comes on and the game is in, so now what should i try?

Make sure the games contacts are clean, and blow air into the cart slot. This works for me when cut my boards. It just helps to eleminate as many variables as possible.

Make sure the N64 works on a different screen, and try a different input on the PSOne screen. That will tell you if there's a problem with the N64, screen, or possibly both.
