Power Possibility?

This is probably a noob question, but if a 12V car monitor was wired to the Gamecubes AC power board, would the car monitor recieve power? It probably can be done, as both are 12V. Is there anything special that needs to be done, or can the screen literally be wired straight to the AC port input points

(Note: I dont plan on using the switch with the screen, but if I did, could I just solder the power lines of the screen to the 2 points below the white port that connects to the regulator board?)

You can connect the screen directly to the AC board's 12v output or to the 2 points below the white connector on the regulator. Whatever setup you choose, both of those should be fine. But just be very careful with polarity in both situations. You may already be aware but, in a lot of GameCubes, the wires going to the regulator board have ground on the red one and 12v on the black (it's deceiving).
