Power on PS2 fat motherboard with no integrated power supply

Hi, I need some help with a ps2 fat v9 motherboard(gh-023), I have this motherboard without the power supply that comes integrated with the fat models, and I couldn't get some clearly information about powering on with batteries, and it's amperage.

In this image(This picture is not mine, but it's the same motherboard model) you can see where is the attachment where the power supply is connected.

I'm not sure if pinout is correctly noted, searching, I mostly saw that this motherboard works with 12v in parallel, and ground I believe that it's at the left because I measured in continuity between the two pins and the border and marks 0.

Also I need the amperage in order to know how many mAh would be needed for decent battery life, also note that would be working without the disc drive(free mcboot via usb[I now that doesn't works well but it's a good solution for portabilizing])

Any help would be very useful.

Re: Power on PS2 fat motherboard with no integrated power su

Why are you trying to run a fat off batteries? Do you have a good reason for doing so rather than using a smaller, more power-efficient slim?

Are the 12V(?) pins connected together? If they are, you could try connecting them to a variable power supply and then slowly ramping up the voltage until the console turns on.
