Player 1 & video switch question

Hello all,

just a little question (two in fact):

I want to keep the player 1 connector, how do I should wire the on/off switch ? on the 5v wire ?

Same question to switch the screen to the video port ?

Spdt switch, put the common wire for both to the center of the switches. Then one goes to internals, the other three externals.

When you say common wire, you mean ground ?

Not really. That would be the line that feeds it. For example the player 1 data line goes to the middle then one end goes to the internal controller and the other goes to the port. Both ways the switch is on just depends on what controller is using. Although you could probably use the 3.3v for the coronet instead of the data line.
