Our first N64P

My friend and I have just started on a N64 portable, our first portable. We have it out of the case, and a screen (ebay 4.3 incher) on the way. We have decided to not relocate the cart slot, but instead flip the board over so the cart goes in the back. The screen will be mounted on the rear metal plate. We do not yet know if we will add batteries. It all depends on the size of the case we find. On this topic, what kind of case will fit this all the best? We need some advice on a long, skinny, but fairly wide case. Here are some pictures so far:

I sent the request to TI for some free voltage regulators, so I guess we are doing batteries. We don't really care about how long you can play for, as long as it is somewhat usable. Does anyone have some suggestions for some cheap batteries that will get maybe an hour of playtime?

Go to www.batteryspace.com that is the best place for batteries that are rechargeable and you will need a protection circuit (cheap)

So there you go good luck and excited for some progress

PS: A good case place is www.polycase.com preferably the ZN series or the AG series

Cheers, Wes

Get the batteries out of a Polaroid portable dvd player. It's only $40 and they have a pretty decent mah. They also come with a charger.
