Nes batteries and battery life

I found these batteries that are 24000 mah each and 1.5 volts, so I am thinking about using four or five of them. Is there a maximum limit on how many mah the nes can take? If so can I use resistors to change the amount of mah that goes into the circuit, because I know using resistors can change the number of amperes in a circuit.

There is no mah limit for any system, but there is a voltage limit. If you are keeping the onboard voltage regulator (7805) then you would feed the system somewhere between 7.2-12v or so. You could use more volts, but your regulator will get hotter and most screens will not take more than 12v.

Could you possibly give a link for your batteries? At 1.5v each, they sound like alkalines. Alkalines usually have a very low mah, usually below 1000 mah each IIRC. If you want a good suggestion for an easy to wire battery pack that would give killer battery life for the NES, I can link you to the hailraizer set of batteries.
