here i fixed that and added a headphone jack. this guide is for total noobs, so its just a very simple version.

Do you know anything about electronics AT ALL? Feeding 12v into ground WILL kill your batteries. Actually read up and wire everything on your diagram before posting it and claiming it works.
EDIT: I was thinking gamecube. Feeding 7v into ground WILL kill your batteries.

Sometimes polarity can mess boards up too. Dude, if you're going to make a diagram, make it clear, precise, and check it for any stupid mistakes like mixing up + and -. Also, there is no need to reinvent the wheel. Something like this has already been done multiple times and has been here for years.

There's your whole "guide" posted a long time before you got here. If you actually gave a Dang about wasting your time, you would have looked in the mega-sticky and said, "Oh hey! There's already a diagram! Might as well not waste my time making one that's worse and has mistakes that could kill someone's batteries."

As has been pointed out, a wiring diagram is already in existence, and I'll defer to the experts saying this one has issues, so I'm locking this thread and will edit the title to warn people to use the diagram at their own risk.
