N64 Heatsinks

Hi Everyone,

I'm building an N64 portable and am wondering about heatsinks. For bench testing is it necessary to use new heatsinks? Should I only add new heatsinks when I put the board in a case? Thanks,

Outside of a case, you will not need heat sinks. Once it is in a confined space, yes, heatsink it.

Some people are creative and make their own, but I get mine form scrapped laptops, or computers.
