what im planing to do (which i got 3 months to do ) is for the R+L and dual Z to be two nunchucks on the back of the case

and use the analog stick of one for the main analog stick and a a pspanalog stick for the c-stick (thanks snowpenguin for that)

and a super pad for the controller and rubber top tact switch about 40

and a zenith psone/xbox screen

and i need to check what els i need

features:

integrated expansion pack
and a scratch piece of plexiglas infront of the game slot

stay updated cause i will be finished!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

That... is completely gigantic. You could EASILY get it to be 1/3 that size. That's just TOO BIG.

Either that, or your psone screen is just horribly out of scale.

like i said cant draw too well *sigh*

Don't worry man, it's just that portable standards have risen over time. You can make a big unit if you want, it makes it easy for a first timer to make a finished portable. You can always use the space to load it with more features, like the d-pad, L, memory card slot, and better batteries. :)

the new pic is decent for a first portable, easy to do depending on thickness, go with a dpad and l since you have more than enough space.

Wow, that first drawing is an ass sandwich.

If you're just going to boxy route as per the second drawing, just copy Mario's layout from his Retro64 or his Sprocket64. It's a good layout. And nix the moon, that's arbitrary nonsense.

well i like the way it is and the is the whole project its luna 64 not boxy 64 luna meaning moon in spanish jeez beta you need some inspiration man

I wouldn't drop the moon, but maybe change the pic to something simpler, like a quarter moon shape. It would be more of a symbol than a photo slapped on the front, heck you could pull a nobble and make it the start button or something like that.

not a bad idea well the is a bit bulky so half moon it is

I have to say that the new logo looks better, if not a little large. Though I would suggest moving the N64 logo to the back perhaps, it'd look less cluttered IMO.

I think you should base your case design around the size of the guts.
You shouldn't even think about it until you take some measurements.

:awesome:

That's like taking 3 months to do the final for a class you haven't taken.

YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU'RE DOING, AND YOU'RE DOING THE STEP THAT COMES LAST, FIRST.

That is what I am saying. Can you even solder?
