MBB noob needs to advertise elsewhere.

There is also help available on these forums, and we have our own stickies, as well. Here's some good links:

Also, take a gander at the second post here: viewtopic.php?f=33&t=791
It'll give you an idea of how other portables have been built. If you have any problems, feel free to post in your worklog and we'll help you out.

im not advertising im trying to help i was just showing him a good guide.

Many of Bacteria's youtube guides are showing methods that are both overkill and/ or unnecessary for a even a basic N64p.

Don't get me wrong, he was nice for posting them, but there are easier and better ways to do it.

Also, YOU DO NOT NEED A MOTHER*Can'tSayThisOnTV*ING FAN ON THE N64 NO MATTER WHAT BENHECK, HAIL, AND BAC DID.

Bac *Can'tSayThisOnTV*ing glopped thermal paste on everything, holding down a thin piece of copper with hotglued floss :stare:
I think he needs a fan in his.

Sorry man, I wasn't to come across as mean. In retrospect, I was being an ass. I'm sorry!

Its not that its all bad, the wiring parts are fine. Its just that some of his methods (for example, putting tact switches on plexi and mounting on craft beads) are a little shaky, and there are easier ways to wire the N64 and smaller ways to trim it.
