Hello Lovely Folks,
Not sure where i would post this info on this forum so excuse me if its in the wrong section
Today i will be sharing the pinout/Diagram and experience of the YSD-998 Li-Ion Battery pack you can get on ebay.
its advertised with : Ebay Link
Battery type: Rechargeable Li-on battery
Input voltage: DC 12.6V
Output: DC 12V 6500mA
DC 9V 8500mA
DC 5V 15000mA
Dimensions: 12.5*7.3*2.5CM
Weight: 310g
To be honest i was expecting this to be false advertisement but they aren't far off.
These are measured fully charged :
12V 5900~ Mah
9V 7900~ Mah
5v 14300~ Mah
as for Durability they are quite alright, but some seem to have less lifespan.
i got 6 of these and 2 of them stopped working after aprox 3 months of service (3 hours a day usage~)
The rest of them however are still functioning on of them has been powering my Raspberry pie as test for about 5 months now seedboxing.
As for opening them up you will have to drill out the holes as the screws are covered in glue.
on the inside you will find alot of glue aswell so be carefull when taking out the ports etc or use the diagram below to wire everything up again.
I am planning to use one of these for a portable but noticed i could not find a Pinout/wirediagram Anywhere.
and as i accidently tore apart some of the wires which were covered in glue etc.
i thought i would share this info to make it easier to wire it back up.
Hope this helps someone as it will help me
