led mod for psone screen

hi i am going to buy these http://cgi.ebay.nl/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250554849456&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT leds, and because they have a max of about 0.4 watt power usage, what is the minimum resistor so they won´t need cooling and are going to live long? i want to use 4 leds.

further, my ribboncable is having problems.. it is really a pain to get an nice image, and then, if you put it down, it is static again.. what should I use to clean it/ is it possible to solder wires between the connector and the ribboncable?? (I have done quite some board trimming)

if I use a led mod, till where can I cut off the high voltage thingy on top?

Als ik jou was zou ik gewoon voor deze gaan:

En dan kan je al gelijk kiezen of je een 5V weerstand of een 12V weerstand erbij neemt!

I have bought the 285000mcd leds from ebay already.. I'll tell you guys how they are once they arrive.. (in about 3 weeks) and thanks, the leds from the link in the previous post seem promising too, maybe something for the other people around here to try??

thanks the leds are great, but are a pain to get fitting in a psone screen.. evev if you file them down.
further they have a lot of powerdraw, so you won't get as much profit as with other led's that use less power......
because of problems with wite spots and powerdraw, I will try to just install the original backlight again.
