Just a quick gamecube question

I was just wondering if it was possible to install a hard drive into a gamecube and play games off of the hard drive. I was also wondering if you could get rid of the disk drive if you install a hard drive.

I have done a lot of gamecube modding but I have never worked with a hard drive, so that is why I am asking these questions.

possible? yes.

within our level of intelligence? doubtful


you can, however, do this with the Wii - thus eliminating gamecube portablizing (soon as prices go down that is)
