Is it possible to fix a single horizontal line on a MGB?

Just "successfully" (it worked for a couple hours :wtf: ) modded my MGB with a back-light. Now all the sudden I have a single horizontal line running through the middle of the screen. How can I fix this?

yo, i had like four or five horizontal lines on my MGB screen after backlighting, and I found that if I applied heat to the white ribbon cable, it got rid of all of them except for one. this probably isn't very helpful since I don't remember the exact place I applied heat to, and it certainly was not very hot; however, it did fix most of the problem areas. if it's extremely bothersome and you're feeling lucky & destructive, give it a try. actually, that's probably terrible advice.

That's why I say not really. Hypothetically, the idea behind fixing it is the same as vertical lines on a DMG - the control lines are held with adhesive, not soldered. However, it's hard to do it in any controlled or certifiably effective fashion, so I typically recommend not doing anything to not risk making it worse.
