Is it Possible to fit a wii u pro controller into a GC one?

I really miss the gc controller already, I really do. I am suprised that nintendo didn't keep my faviourite controller's design and use it on the wii u's pro controller, but then again the Gamecube was the second worst selling 6th Generation home console.

So I was wondering, for a project, if it were possible to fit a wii u pro controller's board into a gamecube controller and hook it up to the buttons? I suppose the hardest part would be making a usb port and fitting another bumper button that worked ( would probably have to get another z button and put it on the left side, or just use the wii u pro controller's bumper buuttons on both sides as one of each would be weird to hold). So yeah, if I had a spare gc controller and a wii u pro controller do you think it would be possible to do without easily bricking the pro's controller board?

Possible yes. Easy don't know.
The gc controller board is a pretty special shape/size. The wiiu controller board probably won't fit without some trimming and relocating.

If it doesn't fit, put the wiiu controller in a box and extend the button signals with wires to your gc controller.

Thanks for the advice, might just do that, it may be easier to put the usb port on the box as well, insead of where the wire is on the gc controller.
I don't think me personally will be able to trim the wii u controller board, with me having little experience with that sort of stuff, I'd probably fack up even if there was a guide on it.
I just hope that the controller will be bale to respond correctly with the extended wires.
