ipod touch batteries for portablizing

ipod touch batteries are about the size of the label on front of a n64 cartridge are super thin. has anyone succesfully used the batteries for a portable?

i have one and it has a third wire for something coming of the pcb and idk what it is any else know?

Ipod touch batteries would suck for portables. the are only tiny because they are very low capacity. They also happen to be very low quality batteries as well.
