ipod HD to Cf card adapter thing

Crazy Train
My friend owed me $15 frrom all the times we wnet to wendys and I paid, so he gave me his 80 gb ipod classic with a crashed hard drive. I have tried everything recommended to get it working to no avail, so I think I will just go and buy one of those 1.8 hd to cf card adapters you see on ebay for ipods. But they are inexpensive and from china. Two things that promise trouble.

So I was wondering if anybody has had any experience with the ones I'm showing you and which one you would recommend buying.

I would go with the second one. They should be cheap; CF cards have the same pinout as those hard drives so no extra circuitry is needed.

thanks, that's good to know! never knew they were just a pin converter like the 60-72 for nes.

since I have a working classic as it is and my I-track broke, then I think it is time for the i-track 2.0!

They work just fine, and the fun thing is that you can actually run a hard drive repair tool on those and get them working just fine again (I assume that's what you were going to do anyway.)

On a completely inane note, if your buddy ate "all those times at Wendys and you paid," and only owed you $15, that's kind of sad. I spend $15 dollars EVERY TIME I eat at Wendys.
