How much power does this cathode consume?

It says that it uses 5.0 mAv @ 12v, which I assume to be 5000 mah. Is this correct?

I have found another document that talks about longer 12v cold cathodes, and that they only consume 300 mah.

I don't get what this Dang "v" means. I doubt this thing only comsumes 5 milliamps.

I'm going to chance it. Hopefully, really hopefully, this doesn't consume 5 amps of power.
