Help with Gamecube Backup loading on Wii

So in preparation for making a Wii portable, I picked up a Wii for trade from my wife's business, and have started the modding process.

I have it all softmodded and am running Wii backups through CFG USB Loader, and everything works perfectly.

I'm researching my options right now for loading GameCube backups though and am curious how others have done it, or if there is a "best and most compatible" way to do it.

The options I'm considering are:

1. Installing DIOSMIOS V2.2 and loading through CFG USB Loader. (The compatibility is not great, and no multiple disk games as far as i can figure out, which means no Tales of Symphonia, which i'm not ok with.)

2. Swiss and SD-Gecko. (I don't know too much about this, how is the compatibility? I do know it can handle multiple disk games, which is a plus.)

3. WiiKey Fusion or Wode. (I have a WiiKey Fusion lying around that I could put in, but I've been waiting to see what my options are. Does Luigi's Mansion still not work with WiiKey Fusion? I don't want to drop $70 for a Wode at this point either, but if it's my best bet...)

So those are my options. Anyone have any suggestions on which route to take? Master Ashen perhaps?

Or is it simply a combination of two techniques to get the most compatibility?

I am looking forward to starting my Wii portable soon too. I have figured out a way (untested) to hook up internally both a gamecube controller and a classic controller into the same button scheme, so I'll have to test that out. I also need to figure out if there's a way to drop the disk drive and just use the USB drive and SD cards, too. Anyone have any ideas on that?

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps out! I've done a lot of research on my own but sometimes you just need to ask for help.

Anyone? Oh well...

I think right now I'm going to go the SD Gecko/Swiss route. Then I can at least play Tales of Symphonia and I can save my WiiKey Fusion for a gamecube.

The only thing i don't like about Swiss is that I have to have a game in the drive to switch to disk 2 when playing Tales of Symphonia, and when I make it into a portable, I want to remove the disk drive, so that won't work. Maybe by then DIOS MIOS will be updated to work with multi-disk games from a USB hard drive.

You say one like neogamma? Practically all gamecube bakcups running with this program in the Wii. I'm on a Wiikey 1 and PAL wii

I prefer Configurable USB Loader, but that and USB Loader GX should have the same compatibility.
