Hailrazer's Gamecube with Wiikey Fusion and Knight Rider Led

I had an hour or two last night and a spare Wiikey Fusion. And I had just received a Gamecube Component Cable.

So I decided to go ahead and make a ED (almost HD) Gamecube Fusion :

I removed the DD drive and soldered in the Fusion. Then I removed the guts from the top half of the DD drive and super glued it back into the Gamecube.
Then I re-moved the Fusion sd slot and mounted it in the hole where the laser normally moves back and forth. I just took a small piece of plastic and heated it with a heat gun till I could bend it. Then super glued the sd-slot to it and then to the Gamecube.

AWWW at first I thought this was a new portable!

But nice job nonetheless. I'm sure that will be a very very very fun gamecube from now on.

I do like how you did the sd slot more than ashens, though. It looks a lot better that way.

I like pretty pictures.
I got the idea of what he did, just didn't read the details. I usually look at the pictures first anyway, and only read if there is something I don't understand or if I plan on doing it myself and want to know more.

Stop making fun of me!

Any pics of the inside with the Knight Rider LEDs installed? Any way to easily reduce the brightness of the LEDs? They look blinding on camera.

Nah I wouldn't really be interested in selling it cheap. The Wiikey costs $45 shipped , a Gamecube $20 , the led's about $30, and a few hours work.

But it really is not worth it for someone to pay $150 or so.

So I think I will just hang on to it.

Oh I forgot about the LEDs

I do agree, but if you ever decide to maybe sell it around the $100-110 price range let me know, because I seriously love this thing
