Hi guys, I recently found out about something amazing. Maybe it is common knowledge, if so, sorry.
It turns out Nintendo got lazy a while back when making Gyromite carts, and got the Famicom chips of Robot Gyro, hooked them up to a removable 60 pin to 72 pin converter. This makes it possible to play Famicom games on the NES.
Insides:
With outsides.
Compared to no converter games.
Apparently this also happened with the games:
1942
Clu Clu Land
Donkey Kong Jr.
Duck Hunt
Elevator Action
Excitebike
Golf
Gumshoe
Gyromite
Hogan’s Alley
Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out!!
Pinball
Raid on Bungeling Bay
Rygar
Soccer
Stack Up
Tennis
Urban Champion
Wizards and Warriors
Wrecking Crew
I found that these were priced $25-60 generally, and they will probably get more pricey as time progresses.
Just a cool tip.
