GCp question.

So I've completely wired up a GCp batteries and all and I havn't tested the batteries yet because I don't want to fry my board. I've consulted the stickies and ShockSlayers videos. I think it's all wired right but is it okay for the 5v line on the WKF, controllers rumble and orange LED to get 7.4 instead of 5v? Will it fry them if they do? here's a diagram I made:

When I turned on the system, my reg dropped in voltage. 1.9 was putting out 1.5 and 3.3 was 3.2. Is my GC fried?

Umm... that just sounds like improper wiring. I hope you didn't give the WKF 5v, because it's not made to handle that and 5v would probably break it. If your regulator's voltages still drop when connected to nothing, it's broken, but if they dropped like that anyway while connected to your board I think the mainboard's fried as well. Be very careful about small metal specs possibly getting into nooks on the board. That breaks a lot of stuff.

Fluxedo I bet you didn't fry it since I once talked to gman, and he told me he once had a cube running at 1.36 volts instead of 1.9. That being said, DO NOT feed 7.4v where 5v is supposed to go.

Ever heard of I = V/R?

If you feed a higher voltage into lines that you aren't supposed to, It'll get too much amps.

Good luck :)
