B boo. Member May 26, 2010 #2 Not if you want to use the original regulator. The original regulator won't go under 10v I believe. But you can build your own regulator that will run off a lower voltage. Someone (I think zenloc) has a guide/designs for it somewhere around here. viewtopic.php?f=36&t=2844
