It depends on how you intend to use it. It could make for some semi-decent insulation between circuit boards, or maybe you could take the backlight out and backlight a logo you cut out on your case...

If you intend to use it to see what's going on in the game you are playing on your NES, though, you will be very disappointed in it's lack of abilities for that department.

My answer applies to all other handheld screens as well, save a few even more inconvenient exceptions. Get a $30 3.5" screen from ebay. It's a much better solution. If you really want to use a your handheld to do this and have no money, sell it to be able to purchase a usable screen.
