GameCube, some case mod ideas please =]

ok, its been a LONG! while, but ive had an imprtant few months at school,
i can solder and that etc, and i need something cool i can do with a gamecube,
LED mods, new coloured fan, something of that nature, just post me past work or a sugestion or anything please, i want to be doing this again

Personally, I need something like that too. I have been wondering about an old, bulky mac laptop, and then just simply put all the junk in it that needs to be in it. I'm just not so sure if those vintage computer screens will work with the game cubes AV capabilities, but oh well I hope someone finds the answer for that for me.

P.S. I don't have the money right now for a better that would fit the right size of the old-screen, so please no suggestions involving buying a new one....
